I am Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Asian Studies Program at the Bowling Green State University.

My overarching research agenda lies at the interaction of nonprofit and civil society organizations, political science, and public administration. In particular, I am interested in understanding how nonprofit generate resources and also role played by them reduce structural social, economic and political inequalities in society. Also, role played by State in either promoting and/or curtaling freedom nonprofit and civil societies both in the U.S. and comparatively.

I also serve as a member of planning commission at the City of Bowling Green, Ohio and a Trustee at Bowling Green Community Foundation.

I recieved B.A. in Business Economics from the University of Delhi, M.A. in Social Enterpreneurship from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Nebraka at Omaha.
